The Godfather: Blackhand Edition for the Nintendo Wii. Take the role of a Corleone soldier in a city where you are in the mob, and take the criminal world into your own hands. This game is roughly the same as the PS2, xbox, and 360 game. Although the one difference, and the main reason this game is so popular, is the control scheme. With the wii's technology, wield the wii-mote and nunchuck in your hands, and take to the streets, as you literally punch, choke, slap and throw, as well as many more with the wii-mote and nunchuck. The sensor bar helps with the pointing while you shoot, giving a much more natural free-aim feeling, almost PC like. Some say the game can be tiring, but the feeling of holding Z on the nunchuck and B on the wii-mote to pick up people and throw them around, is to much to turn down. With more features then the latest godfather game out now, and the ability to point and shoot, throw, coke and many more, as well as reloading and carious other moves using the motion sensors. Top that all off with 50 separate execution moves, this game is not to disappointed

I was worried that a GTA style game wont make it to the Nintendo Wii. THank god for the Godfather, it serves all my killing needs and wants. A GREAT game to say the least.

Havnt had this much shooting fun on nintendo since GOLDEN EYE on N64!

Got Godfather the other day, in my opinion flogs all previous GTA games by a fair whack. The way the wii remotes are used works and feels great pretty fast and also extorting businessess and taking over warehouses is awesome!
The video review is basically spot on.

I just bought a copy of this game from David Jones in Melbourne, and it came in the weirdest, hard as motherf*ck to open case I've ever seen. I had to wedge it open with a screwdriver as it has this tab thing that locks the case shut, and now I can't even get the disc out due to some other contraption. What's the deal? Is this supposed to keep kids out or people who don't have a tool box?
I'm sure it will be a great game if I ever get to play it.

bahaha, by the sounds of it the person didnt swipe the magnet thing across that unlocks it. that wat happened when we bought a dvd once. we did wat u did and just used tools and opened it, and later some one showed us the magnet thing. lololol hope that helped

Not really, only if you want to get in-depth with the story. The game is all about doing little Mafia jobs, most of which aren't in the movies, and taking over businesses, which is good dirty fun.
