After SPI pretty much got shutdown, not totally, when they were doing Nintendo's business for them. All Interactive Distrubtion, A.I.D., have been taking over for only a temp job and now it seems that Nintendo Australia might be stepping in for a permanent job of promoting Nintendo's own products with in New Zealand.

Nintendo Australia shall now be Nintendo Australia and New Zealand

WOw that is barely no one.
All my cousins have one.
So about 5 their. Plus i recommended wii to 2 people and they go it!
Dam Wii is deserted in NZ!

Nintendo Australia will take over the role of Marketing & PR for Nintendo in New Zealand, just as expected.

The confirmation comes after NZGamer spoke with Nintendo Australia's Public Relations Coordinator, Heather Murphy, who said: "We’d like to assure gamers in New Zealand that we're currently sorting everything to make this change happen."

Due to the success of Nintendo Australia, there is sure to be a change in marketing, and hopefully finally some decent support for both the Wii and the DS in New Zealand.
