But not everyone knows that. People will have that insecurity and think that if they can assassinate the President. Who can protect us now?

No one is an exageration. Terrorism is not as bad as you think, terrorism is overhyped by the media as well man, the threat is very small in comparison, but like most things its tehre to keep you living in fear, so they can abuse more of your privacy.
