No, I just meant I think in Back to the Future 2 they ran the care on some crap from the bin, and i think there was a banana, and the car could fly and travel through time, with the flux capacitor! Ohhh good times

Cham. In relation to the Terriost and Tsunami thing is...

People care for themselves and there surroundings. Therefore when a couple of thousand people die in a terrorist attack they only think about there country and how that devastated them. While a Tsunami may hit somewhere else, people in America wont actually take it in that 100s of thousands of people have just died. People care for only themselves and there surroundings.

I used America as an example but you could replace it with any other country, because we are all like it. If for say somewhere in America was hit by a Tsunami of course, it will pain them, very much. While people in Australia will just be grateful that it didn't happen to us and just forget about the whole thing. It's the same everywhere. I do it, you do it, everyone does it.

Actually, Mr Fusion only powered the time circuits as a replacement for Plutonium. The actual engine still runs on petrol.

Agreed, 100%. We get one dead soldier and it hits ALL the news headlines. There's heaps about it! Then at the same time countless people are getting killed in Iraq, America, Africa and many, many other countries. But when 1 Australia dies all the publicity is on them, yeah sure, they deserve it, they fight but there are many other that do the same thing, if other countries and get nothing in Australia. Humans are all Humans none should be treated differently. It's like each country are all different species.

If I was to die, no one except my friends and family would ever know, which is much worse than a statistic. But if I was to die amongst 1,000 other people I would just be one of the 1,000. In another country, probably wouldn't even know about the 1,000 people. If I was to die amongst 1 million people, I would just be one of the million people that have died, and maybe heard of in other countries, not me being heard of the million people that have died. Not the individual people. No one takes into consideration that a Father, a Wife, or a Child could be lost there. It's just "people".

I think people do have hearts. Your issue is probably with the media, showing one side of the story more, our side. And why shouldn't they, that's what they're supposed to do. Reports on dead kids in Africa and dying people in Iraq, how relevant is that to Australians? Sure it can make a great feature, and we can feel bad for a while but it wouldn't last, and people would just get annoyed at the news corps. People want to hear news on relevant issues which is why they report on Australians, oil prices and interest rates (etc). And what exactly can we do even if people know kids are dying in Africa?

To talk about priorities, in our little western sphere of economic protection, we have our priorities right (school, study, oil prices, working our asses off!) but in the grander scheme of things, I think it's pretty wrong.
