Anyone think this game is awesome, just been playing it for the past couple of days as I had never originally finished it and started again and must say I reckon this game is better than TP and OOT, don't hate me for saying it .

Also searched to see if there was a thread on this but couldn't find one

i dont agree that it is better than TP, possibly equal to OOT (i never finished it:() but it is a great game. it was a good break from the same-old normal zelda games and good to have a see based game with no bloody ocarinas and a 'different' storyline. i must admit while i was playing brawl today with toon link i looked across to my games because it made me want to play Wind Waker but i remembered i sold it on ebay! NOOOOOO

so yeh, good game

Wind Waker is the best LoZ game. Period.

Ok, ok, I'm just a sucker to cell-shading...
But it would be a great game even without cell-shading.

Wind Waker is very good especially early on (sneaking around the fortress) howver later on you will discover the mass overkill of sailing and the game does peak midway through (all ill say is at the castle) which leaves the final impression a little soft. Ocarina peaks probably at the Gerudo fortress leaving a great memory after the business is complete at the end of the game. Wind Waker however does contain the best ever dungeon in a Zelda game (IMO) the Light Fortress (not sure if thats the correct title but yeah). In all a neat game I think its often unfairly bashed as a game maybe not up to the lofty standards of Ocarina but none the less not only a good game but a Zelda game to boot.

Cant quite recall of hand but it is the one with the mirror shield where you need to reflect the beams of light in order to advance absolute all time best Zelda Dungeon followed quite distantly by the Water Dungeon in Link to the Past. Worst dungeon was that son of a b!@t# Water Temple in Ocarina.

Worst dungeon was that son of a b!@t# Water Temple in Ocarina.



That dungeon also angered me quite a bit, the Zora or Water Dungeons usually are the worst dungeons of a Zelda game.

That's what got me playin it again, i even went out and brought a 2nd copy that with my surprise came with Master Quest and it only cost me $40 including Pikmin 2

i loved that game, i think it was the first zelda game i beat

the hardest boss was puppet ganon who was harder than Ganondorf himself

I must agree with you there. I couldn't really figure out what to do and then when I figured the weakness out, I KEPT MISSING!

wind waker was awesome, i played it through like 8 times, it took me a ton of time to beat it teh first time through, though

It was the giant poe i beat it for the 2nd time the other day just bought it off ebay definately one of the best zelda games ever and the cartoony style was awesome i dunno why soooo many ppl bash it link looked funny

When people say they like TP, it's mostly because of the graphics. If it had the same graphics as OoT, then hardly anyone would like it as much. 80% because of graphics, 15% because of the storyline and 5% because of the wii sensoring. Not as many like it based only on its storyline. It's graphics are the only thing that makes people even mention it on par with WW and OoT, which were games that were able to score on the top of people's lists without great graphics, but simply a great storyline. Don't get me wrong, TP is an awesome game and i loved it.

But my favourite Zelda game is, and no doubt always will be, Wind Waker. Now that game ruled.

i say i like tp cause i feel its the best game with best gameplay and story out of all of em. but i love all zeldas equally cept majoras mask thats slightly lower than the rest but its still good.. wind waker was one great zelda game. back when it came out alot of people disliked itspecially my classmates at school. but i stood by it im going to replay it soon my god i love it!

No offense but i bet you don't like Majora's mask as much because you found it too hard, am i right. Same reason people don't like Metroid Prime 2 as much as the others because it was too hard. Hey i found MM hard as well. Actually i have never finished it. We bought it off some guy and it already had a finished file on it. I tried to finish my own file but couldn't be screwed. Too long and hard. Mind you i do love long games. The longer the better.

I didn't find MM of MP2:E too hard. Metroid Prime 2 was definately harder thn the first but not by that much. Majoras mask was a great game, awesome dungeons, my only gripe was the time factor. Once you could slow time and get the bunny hood it was all good. Part of a great challenge i suppose.

The animation in Wind Waker was fantastic. I love link's facial expresions and all the little gems in the game like the pigs and seagulls.

I don't want to turn this thread into a Metroid Prime discussion so i'll just say this; MP2 was my favourite out of all three. Hardest and longest, and great story line. Anyway back to the topic. Wind Waker rules.
