The reason for 1 host is because they have all the friendcodes which makes it easier. They also have more availability. The host can race and advance. They can host division 1 as a player, and race division 2 as a host. If they dropout, they can race division 1 as a host, and host division 2 as a player. Either way there will always be 11 racers plus host in each division. They just need to make clear which one they are 'racing in' and which one they are 'hosting' And it allows for multiple hosts. The 12th spot is reserved for the host - whoever he, she or it may be. I must admit, I really like Sternzie's idea. The only problem is two player races with items dont always work. And more players are more fun.
