I think there should be a points system (currently Kudos), and a karma. Where people can rate accordingly, one a week type thing.

EDIT: MrWii: I can do that, I have experience with moderation to a degree, and have read many an articles in my time (not so much writing articles, I am a bit of an amateur at that ).
Another person to suggest for moderation of content would be Bowerstone, instead of saying 'Great review!!11one', he gave critique.
