Wii is pretty much caining powerhouses microsoft and sony. in April, in the US, sony sold 82,000 PS3's while Nintendo sold a whopping 360,000 wii consoles. In the home of Nintendo, Japan, Nintendo sold 251,794 consoles in last month compared to less than 50,000 PS3 consoles, and even lesser amounts for Xbox 360 consoles, selling only 11,082 consoles in Japan for that month.

The news doesn't get much better for Sony, reports are that Amazon has sold out of Wii consoles. Sony isn't used to being beaten in sales by another console, dominating sales for the last decade.

i myself originally owned a super nintendo then a nintendo 64, but made the change to a Playstation 2. I've retuned back to Nintendo this time for two reasons; one, the price and two, the quality of games such as zelda and mario are unbeatable. The fun factor by far outweighs that of Playstation or Xbox and may be what many people beleive around the world. And its reflected on the sales.
