The Beatles: Rock Band Supply Problems?

When I went to grab a copy of The Beatles: Rock Band this morning I was surprised to see that both the bigger EB and GAME in my area (Rundle Mall in Adelaide for those of you playing at home) didn't have any copies for any platform. Fortunately the smaller EB 50m away had 1 copy on Xbox 360.

I thought it might have just been my area until Kotaku posted similar supply issues. Apparently distributor EA, and publisher MTV games, sent retailers around the country very limited stock ahead of the game's worldwide release today. Many stores are already out of stock, and some where lucky to receive a single copy of the game.

Apparently there are just 4000 copies of the bundle in the country, most of which are on Wii. From the looks of things there aren't too many more copies of the stand alone game.

How about you MyMedia gamers? Did you have trouble getting a copy, or notice a lack of stock in your locale store?

Update: None of the major gaming retailers had any bundles in stock that I checked (Adelaide EB x 2, JB, GAME). However, they each had some game only stock on at least one platform, although in limited numbers.
