Micheal Jackson was a fan of mortal kombat
In a tragic turn of events Micheal Jackson has recently died.Paul Theroux of Telegraph bruings us back to the interview he had with the king of pop. This interview shows that MJ was not only a legendary artist, but a gamer who played Mortal Kombat. He started playing video games to deal with the intoxication after concerts.
MJ:It makes people do strange things. A lot of our famous luminaries become intoxicated because of it – they can't handle it. And your adrenaline is at the zenith of the universe after a concert – you can't sleep. It's maybe two in the morning and you're wide awake. After coming off stage, you're floating.
PT:How do you handle that?
MJ:I watch cartoons. I love cartoons. I play video games. Sometimes I read.
PT:You mean you read books?
MJ:Yeah. I love to read short stories and everything.
PT:Any in particular?
MJ:He then Rapidly said "Somerset Maugham then after a short pause he said Whitman. Another pause, Hemingway, Pause again, Twain.
PT:What about those video games?
MJ:I love X-Man. Pinball. Jurassic Park. The martial arts ones Mortal Kombat.
PT:I played some of the video games at Neverland, [Theroux] said. There was an amazing one called Beast Buster.
MJ:Oh, yeah, that's great. I pick each game. That one's maybe too violent, though. I usually take some with me on tour.
He then asked how he lugs all the then bulky video games on tour. He then replied he travels with 2 cargo planes
