Masahiro Sukarai who is most notable from Super Smash Bros and Kirby fame has announced alongside Nintendo that a new First Party development studio has been formed. The studio is called Project Sora and Sukarai will be the head of the company. Sakurai's previous company Sora Ltd. was integrated into the new company and as a result Nintendo are the majority share holders as they currently have a 72% stake in the studio. Project Sora currently employ 30 people and are on the look out for "talented individuals" to hire. Sakurai chats with Iwata in an "Iwata asks" Interview The best news to come is that their first project is an undisclosed title that is already under development. Satoru Iwata has assured us the new game will not be a new Super Smash Bros title. Sakurai also added this interesting statement that makes the currently undeveloped project a little more interesting:
"I can promise an experience that's different from anything [you've played] up until now."
