Wii News \ Conduit the ' Halo for the Wii’? or will it also head to 360 and PS3?

TD: Now that you’ve created this game, if it’s a big hit, could it possibly go over to the PS3 or 360?

Kerry Ganofsk replied..

I wouldn’t rule anything out. There’s definitely a market there. There’s been companies doing PS3/360 shooters several revs deep now. There’s a time and a place for everything. If Nintendo, Sega and High Voltage come to an understanding, I think The Conduit could become the Halo for the Wii.

The Conduit is mean't to be an Wii exclusive but now it could head to the 360 and PS3 we will just have to wait and see what they will do.

I have no doubt this series will stay as a Wii exclusive. The 360/PS3 FPS market is absolutely flooded and if the conduit ever reached those consoles it would be a dismal failure.

This game will be brilliant as it has tried to achieve something on a console that has not been reaching its full potential. The features and technology in The Conduit is unbelievable for the Wii and this really sets it apart.

This whole series is designed to take full advantage of the Wii hardware. It is playing to its own strengths and its strengths are on the Wii console. Not the PS3 and 360.

As the interview said High voltage would love for the series to be a Wii exclusive if Nintendo, Sega and High Voltage can come to an understanding. That is highly likely.

The Conduit will succeed in the Wii market as it deserves to. If the series is ever turned to a 360/PS3 title it will fail due to the fact it will have nothing to offer.

So don't worry The Conduit will not be going to another console.

I really hate these flame bait news stories.

Not many xbox or PS3 gamers want it when they already have halo3, gears of war, hl2: orange box, and unreal tournament so they're not gonna ruin it.

It probably wouldn't sell very well on the other systems at all. The graphics and everything are outstanding for the Wii, but with new releases such as Killzone 2 on PS3, it doesn't even compare. If the gameplay is original enough, and they up the graphics for the other two systems (doesn't need much really), it could sell alright. Either way, it's going to sell like hotcakes on the Wii.

For the record jackol, it's "a Wii exclusive" not "an Wii".
