Rumor: Wii Health and Music Channels in Development 4/13/2007, 3:24pm Eastern Time Gamers clamoring for more Wii channels may have something to look forward to in the near future. George Katrinakis, CEO of Greek Nintendo distributor Nordec Multimedia, revealed some interesting tidbits about the potential channels in an interview with Greek news website Contra. The first reputed new channel is Health Pack, which puts users through a series of physical exercises and then proceed to compile data based on the user's performance for interpretation at a Nintendo-contracted hospital. Results are then returned to the user via Health Pack. The second channel, Wii Music, gives users the opportunity to conduct their very own virtual opera and utilize virtual representations of real world instruments to create their own music to be shared with family and friends. While all this new information may excite Wii owners, consider this rumor and speculation until an official announcement is made. As always, Nintendojo will keep you posted. Sounds like a good idea, dont think theyv been confirmed but i like the idea of a music channel. Source: Next Generation
