News \ Epic games says no

Mark Rein the vice president of Epic games claims that the wii isn't fit for the type of games they make such as Unreal Tournament.

He claims that it is just no their area in expertise, as mark said!

"our area of expertise is the more high-end consoles and things that push technology higher. That's what we do".

mark also said that there is alot more water left the well and when that runs out they might consider something, but dont get your hopes up he also rekon that won't be happening any time soon. The vice president made a little remark towards the hackers connected to the wii having this little remark to say!

"No worries, though. Wii's legion of epic hackers will find a way to get the legendary Unreal engine working on the system. Right?".

The conduit's graphis don't look good, it looks ok. It looks good for the WII, but if it came out on another console people would be bashing it. Don't even get me started on the firework-type animations....to be honest the game as a whole looks god aweful



A also agree to an extent. While the graphics are good in my opinion, they would be shamed on the 360 or PS3. Also I don't think the hype for this game is going to be lived up to =<

I doubt it. Epic games utilizes the Unreal Engine and the Wii can't handle that kind of technology at it's best. I think Nintendo should invest in some more "modern" technology if you will.

I'm not saying they should throw the Wii away, but rather develop another system, but it seems they're already doing that...
