Ahem... Galaxy was awesome and Twilight Princess was pretty sweet to. The only 2d game for Wii that was good was 1/2 of Super Paper Mario.

Twilight Princess isn't a platformer, it's an action RPG. SMG was good for a child's game. For someone expecting more of a challenge it was a huge letdown.

I really can't agree that any of the games you listed look even half decent. The Conduit's animations alone are enough to make it seem stupid. Samba de Amigo, well the box alone speaks for itself. Not a sonic fan, except for the old 2D ones and the old Genisis one, the new ones are nothing more than crappy adventure games. I could go on and on.

Unless Nintendo can pull out some magic box to upgrade the wii, I don't see anything great hitting shelves.

That would probably be a better idea but Nintendo might have a WiiWare game that is in 2D, like Capcom's Megaman, and if they made Wario for WiiWare it would probably be shorter and then if nintendo did have a secret WiiWare game most people would have to chose between the 2. This also kinda reminds of the Sonic games.
