News \ Rumour: Wii USB HDD Coming Soon?

Nintendo have posted a seemingly normal job ad, that has kicked the Wii HDD rumour up a gear.

Heres the ad.

"CONTRACT - Software/Hardware Tester

Description of Duties

* Creating and executing a test plan for Wii’s USB devices
* Executing test plans with great attention to detail and documenting bugs
* Writing test procedure documents, gathering, and learning required software/hardware
* Reproducing bug reports and helping find work-arounds or resolutions"

so a Wii Harddrive may be in the works.

Nintendo said they arnt bring out a diff color yet in like the last nintendo power or maybe it was the issuse a month ago i can't remember but they said no new colors will be comeing out anytime soon cause their sales are doing just fine with the white one which sucks

yeah thats why said it was a rumour several times

oh and i doubt it would be the drums for rock band since the game comes out in a couple of months

nothing set in stone dude.

This is just an add for someone to work on usb possibilities for the wii, it doesn't mean we will be getting a hardrive.

HDD sounds cool But what if this just for a USB mic or something for nintendo so we can talk trash to people online like we can on the 360 and ps3 or even a cam which PS3 and 360 both have too they might just be looking to get back in the game by head sets and cams cause if i remember correctly a news was here where they said they had no plan to make a hdd just cause you can re-download the stuff you want to play while keeping any save data on a sd memory card

What it needs to be is just like that image but it acts exactly like any other portable hardrive. (pretty much a big ass usb drive) it can be used to view videos,pics and music on the wii and also creates something to store extra vc/wiiware games on it and game saves.
