News \ Mario Kart Wii Dated for Australia
It looks like the agonising wait for release details on two of Nintendo's biggest games for 2008 has at least partly been finalised. Whilst there is still no word on when Australian gamers will see Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Nintendo of Australia have stated that Mario Kart Wii will hit Australian shelves on April 24th 2008, a full two weeks after the game launches across Europe and Japan.
Mario Kart Wii will retail for $99.95, including the bundled steering wheel peripheral. The game will support wiimote, wiimote and nunchuck, classic controller and Gamecube controller options, giving players full flexibility when it comes to choosing how to control their kart or, in a new addition for the franchise, their motorbike.
Mario Kart Wii will support full global 12 player multiplayer, through the nintendo Wi-Fi connection service. The game will also allow players to play as their Mii, in addition to the full cast of usual characters, and some new ones, such as Baby Peach.
The Mario Kart franchise has been running since 1992, and has appeared on all major Nintendo platforms in addition to arcades.

We didn't think Corruption would be delayed so long. Or Super Paper Mario. Or Galaxy. Or Brawl for that matter, and it was delayed very close to it's release in feb. The point is we pretty much can't trust anything Nintendo says.
Yeah i guess that is true, well we can have hope...please Ninty make Mario Kart Wii an exception to the delay rule you guys clearly have, that should work
