After a couple of months of anticipation, and a lot of speculation, Today sees the release of the first real and publically available homebrew. Designed by auby.no, Tetris for Wii utilises the previously released Zelda Exploit to enable booting of the ELF file. Now Tetris is as good as Tetris gets, the same old game that we all know. But it is a start, and quite a valid start which will lead to some extremely exciting material to follow. To do this on your own Wii you will need the following: - An Account at www.wiinewz.com - a Wii (cmon I had to put it.... but in all seriousness, it doesnt matter if its modded or not) - Zelda HAck (Latest Release at time of writing was V0.1-alpha2) which can be downloaded from here: psx-scene.com/ - Tetris Elf File: psx-scene.com/ - SD Gecko adapter or similar device - Gamecube controller (as yet they still havent released the drivers for the wiimote) Instructions are in the readme file.
