Wii Exploit Discovered!!! Homebrew to follow?

Bushing and Segher, part of the team who brought you the first look at wii homebrew, have today made public the first Wii exploit that will hopefully lead to full Homebrew apps, on an unmodded wii...thats right, an UNMODDED Wii!!!!! No Chips!

Through a exploit in a Zelda Twilight Princess save game, the guys were able to gain access to the Wii. For those familiar with the PSP scene, this can be compared to the GT3 exploit!! Yes people its that big!!!

Bushing has confirmed that they were able to inject 4 lines of code into the wii, which has him claiming that a homebrew loader may well be possible provided they "don't it any walls".

As you can see by the below screenshots it is only early days but progress is being made:







On the flip side what needs to be kept in mind is that this is coming from the same guys who brought us the first scenes of homebrew, and then the mysterious pink "Gayfish" disk and now this. So either these guys are on a roll and very soon the Wii will be completely unlocked, or we are being taken on one big ride.

Having personally spoken to bushing about this I think that's not the case and we are in for an exciting month or two.
