News \ Wii Music - Details Revealed!

Just yesterday Japanese Website Ruliweb.com revealed new details about Nintendo's long awaited and upcoming game, Wii Music.

Shown in the report, the gameplay in Wii Music will revolved around 'Play Sessions.' Meaning that up to six characters can participate in a session, four of which can be player-controlled. We are also told to expect the game to feature both new and old from Nintendo's internal sound team, and replay options for each session are told to be also available.

Players will be able to access and control the conductor baton and over 40 instruments such as the Folk Guitar, Bass Guitar, Xylophone and Maracas, just to name a few.

Their are different controls for different instruments. The trumpet will make stronger sounds when the Wii Remote is held at a high angle and weaker sounds at a low angle; the drums can be played using two Wii Remotes; a button can be used as a "pick" when playing the guitar to elicit both single sounds and full chords, and so forth.

Presently, Wii Music's release is only set to sometime this year but more should be revealed soon.

If Activision had any brains/marketing skills they would have some downloadable content for Guitar Hero on the Wii and look at increasing the product range on the Wii.
eg: re-release Guitar Hero 1,2 and 80's versions for the Wii.
(like they did for xbox 360)

Game looks fine, for all those saying they wouldn't buy this game I really hope you didn't buy Guitar Hero as this is basically the same game without the guitar peripheral.

I just hope they put in afew popular songs to play and not just generic songs that the company has made up.
