Another option is to sign up for a paypal account and link your bank account to that. It's what i do for online purchases and seeing its only Paypal that has access to your account (charging your account that is) its safe

Seeing as dealextreme site uses paypal you can use it for that, if you don't want to keep using your mum's credit card
