Wii Software \ Buy guitar hero axe seperate?

If that's the case and i have to buy the whole thing would you recommend the Wii or PS3 version?

JB Hifi had them in a catalogue a few weeks back. Ours had 6 but sold them straight away according to the staff. They are trying to get another one for us.

They stuffed the Wii version and will be issuing replacement discs early next year. The current Wii version outputs mono sound only.

"This updated response is being generated as a follow up to your incident with our customer support department.

We recently became aware that some consumers have not been able to enjoy the full audio output in the Nintendo Wii version of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. We are currently working with Nintendo and are planning to issue an improved audio experience in future versions of the game. We expect to have re-mastered discs available by early 2008 and we will be offering consumers replacement discs at no cost once they become available.

Maybe not everyone has/uses stereo output on the wii? like myself my TV only has mono sound output
