I used to work at coles. Great money and if you do your job you can move up quickly.
Now I'm at kmart, whichg to me is a 1000 times better job, but they don't pay quite as much (only $1 less an hour, but you do notice it missing, lol)
You get a 5% discount at coles, kmart, target and a few other places which doesn't sound like much but it definately adds up (think i saved about $500 in the last year when I add all the discounts up), plus kmart is one of the last handful of places that gives you a uniform for free, all you need is some black pants and shiny shoes
*edit* and a movie ticket discount if you join the union, takes an adult ticket from $14 to $9.50 not sure about your age though
