No actually its your fault, its an offence to deliberatly stop , even if your avoiding an animal (your expected to run it over rather than cause an accident), ask the cops.

(excluding freeways)You must have room between cars to stop safely. Its what the insurance company tells me, dont know what the law says. If you hit the car in front, its always your fault for not leaving enough room.

Its not an offence to stop for an animal, but they advise against.

I never stop, just brake hard.

Haha, burned rubber smell much?

When you're trying ot overtake a car, they slow down to say 80 in a 100 zone on a bend, then it comes to the straight, you're about to overtake, and they speed up to 100!! AH. And i'm only 9 months into my L's :P


EDIT. @post before, if it is deemed to be deliberate, which is what you're saying. Then they will make you pay you're own premium (i think thats what its called) to your insurance company, as it won't be deemed their fault OR your fault, if anyone can back me up on this?

(that makes no sense as i read back over it )

or the one entry petrol station and some guy goes in the out and faces the wrong way making a jam unless he reverse's out the wrong way into the street

That situation can be annoying but sometimes when there's two sets of pumps together one has cheapo fuel and the other has premium, so it depends on what you want.

That is such a stupid, stupid thing to do. Not only are you endangering your life and the driver's behind you, but also anyone else who is near you, both drivers and pedestrians.

A man in America once did something similar on a 100KM/h freeway. He raced in front of a driver he didn't like, and then braked hard. The car behind him swerved to avoid him, became airborne when it hit an island, landed upside down on another car in the incoming lane. Both drivers were dead. The guy who braked hard got First-Degree Murder, two consecutive life sentences.

Another peeve, when I'm first off when the lights go green, purely because I kept my eyes on the road, every P plater (P for pro, remember that kids) and A LOT of full licensed drivers just speed past me because they think their ego's got damaged because they weren't watching the lights.

Simple fact that, if I go 5k's above the limit, I'm "hooning", if I go on the speed limit, I'm a bad driver. What's funny is that nearly all full licensed drivers are going 5k's above OR 5 below. Hardly any one seems to know that 80km/h means 80... not 85.. not 75.

My pet hate is slow drivers. Doing 50 in a 60. Why? Safety only. What happens behind a slow driver is all the cars bunch up, so when there is an accident its soooo much worse then if the appropriate gap had been left.

The most painful thing anyone can do at a petrol station is move their car before paying. Why? think of the poor console operator. he has track of 26 pumps, 18 cars, 30 people. You move your car and all of a sudden he has your plate written down and on its way to the police cause he thinks you have done a runner. Every petrol station takes a note of all plates as they come in. Move your car before paying and your plate doesn't get crossed off. DONT move your car, it does no one any good. just get inside and pay for your fuel quickly. Don't bloody hang around to clean your windows it pisses off the console opp and the car behind you. (I manage a couple Mobil stores)
