'Super Mario Bros 2(AUS)' as we know it is actually a japanese game called 'Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic (JAP)'.
'Super Mario bros 2(JAP)' as Japan know it is
'Super Mario Bros The Lost levels(AUS)' to us

they changed Doki Doki to Super Mario bros 2 for the western countries, and their super mario bros 2 was our lost levels. found on Super mario allstars

Lost levels was pretty tough, lots of swearing and control pad throwing while playing that, Mario 2 was ok but just seemed out of place in the series I didn't know it was called Doki Doki until way after Mario 2 was released.

It's relatively simple.
Go to whatever game it is you want to find, for example: The Lost Levels. The Losts Levels = Mario 2 in Japan.

What is hard about that?

Is there any way you could post a photo of the previews screens from your Wii Shop Channel, of this game?

If you can do this, we can clarify that it is truely The Lost Levels or American Super Mario Brothers 2. It would seem odd that Nintendo would post the American version on the Japanese Wii Shop Channel, since they said that they would only be releasing localised games to each format of the Wii.

Alright guys, with much great pain I went through to understand Japanese, here is the game that Hamzie was talking about that's on his Wii Shop Channel:
