Wow, quite a complex code for a home network. I think a lot of people go with just something like 192.168.1.x. Are you hooked up directly to the modem or are you using a router? Is the computer wireless or wired to the router?

Ok, so have you tried to update the drivers with ones from the internet? As in you plug in the wifi adapter, then a window should come up asking whether you want to look on the internet for drivers or use your own drivers? This could be the problem. I've heard of people having a similar problem to you, so they tried updating the drivers of the wifi adapter through the internet, then it worked perfectly.
