Well first I would change it so it can play DVD's

Second, so we could customize the Wii menu

Third, change that HORRIBLE music on the Wii Shop Channel.

Oh, and I really wish the Wii had a Boot video when you first turn it on, instead of being greated with a Warning.

I've always thought that short little video they always tag on to the start of the TV ads for Wii games in Australia would be awesome (It has the white background with "Wii" in grey right in the middle, then there are rings that eminate out of the "Wii" text).

What do you mean customise the Wii menu? You mean shuffle channel icons around? You already can — use A+B to drag a channel to an empty slot.

I think they mean changing the colour schemes of the menu(s), even though there isn't that much to change.

In no particular order
1. DVD and VCD playback (Plus DivX support)
2. More channels (RSS, game demos and previews, an MP3 channel for playing music directly from your SD card)
3. Better multiplayer support (Sharing game saves wirelessly, more wireless games, and maybe some Wi-Fi games that don't suck?)

I heard Nintendo was going to allow people to download Wii Menu skins either for free or for a small price, but I don't know the validity of that.

Well it would be nice to have a dedicated channel to play both music and videos, instead of having to convert the video and start a slide show (to play music) in the Photo Channel.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Having to mess around in the photo channel just to listen to some music is stupid. It wouldn't hurt Nintendo to make a dedicated music channel.
