It did take a while. I can't give you an exact indication because I am actually using a P2P program that's using a lot of bandwidth, but it took me around 10 minutes to do.

Oh, and the Wii Shop Channel is offline as well, i think, unless it's because my bandwidth is being fully used at the moment. Let me know if you guys got your Wii Shop Channel to work.

What chip do you own? Wiikey?

I have a Wiikey modchip. Wii Shop Channel seems to work fine for me now. It didn't earlier only because I think they were trying to finish updating the new interface.

Hardly. My games still work. The other online channels still work. Only the shop channel doesn't. If Nintendo want to be difficult by cutting shop access then fine. No more VC profits from me. I doubt this is a intentional error because as phatbas says his works.

Yeh thats why i didnt modchip my wii.Nintendo can fry that little sucker.:pYou are all doomed.And frankly you kinda deserve it if you look at it from game companys point of view.They make a game as a living and you get it for free.And when enough people do it it can really lose money.Gaming is a huige industrie and one failure of a game can send a company crashin.Nothing may have happened so far.But eventualy ninty will put something in it.Probs something you wont even have to download they will just send all wii consoles it.
