HI, I am having trouble conneting a second remote to play Mario Party 8. I can connect a second remote to wii sports no problems but Mario Party 8 just wont connect a second remote. Does anyone know of how to connect extra remotes in Mario Party 8??

Are you using a wiimote docking station to charge the mote's? Ive seen a few mates who have been using the station and they always have trouble with there controllers.
The best solution they found was to use normal batteries

Yep, that's all I ever do and it connects every time. The first Wiimote you press the A button on becomes controller one, the second controller two.

This is odd. Do both the WiiMotes work in the Wii Main Menu? Try making sure that both WiiMotes are turned on in the Main Menu before you start the game (There should be a blue hand P1 and a red hand P2).

If this doesn't work, you might have to try re-syncing the second WiiMote - you open the battery compartment and push the little red button while pressing the bigger red button in the Wii console (where the SD card goes into on the front of the Wii).
