Hammer Bro was from Super Mario on the NES and Dry Bones was from Super mario 3 on the NES. Two classic games. I dunno how you couldn't have heard of them.

You unlock Blooper after you complete the Star Battle with Hammer Bros. I think, so just try that.
I play as Boo, but once I unlock Blooper, I will always play as him. He is my favorite character.
