Yeah its safe to say the Wii will out sell the 360 in the "the fastest selling console" role. The wii would need to sell 30,000 consoles in 4 days ...since they have alrdy got 30,000 pre-orders, its a pretty safe bet there gonna kill that record

Really hoping is doesn't sell out tho, would be unfair on the people missing out. Would also hurt the Wii's overall sales!

These next gen consoles arnt like the old ones. if they had software issues bad luck. now you get firmware upgrades which can fix most anything except physical hardware problems.

Thats what i mean.....it would be a pleasure to see it do so well and knock the 360 off and all.....but id be happier knowing that everyone here and everywhere in aus actually got a console...this for me would be a happier moment....cause i know how pumped i am to get one and how shattered id be if i had to miss out

ps2 sold out the first shipment in Western Australia ... not sure about the rest of Australia.

It can preform good in sales without selling out. If theres a good flow of the console it will sell well without anyone missing out.
