Wii Hardware \ When are you buying your Wii?

I was just thinking, it seems that most people are buying their Wii's on release or for Christmas. Is anyone feeling that they might wait a while and see if there are any defects in the units? I'm just thinking about the U.S. release of the 360 and the over heating issues and such.

I don't think there will be anything wrong with the Wii but all the same.... I suppose that is what warranty is for anyway....

nbo please dont tell people that.. like its not nice.. hehe Yerr im gonna go with a heap of friends and family and gonna promote mywii as well. I will have it really bad cause im gonna go around all of westfield parramatta and first buy my wii and then promote mywii.com.au to the 3 game stores and the toys'r'us for atleast 1-2 hours before i head home to plug in my wii. I have to wait 2 hours before I will be able to play my wii.. Mentally it will be tough and physically even tougher.... but im preparing myself. (Rocky music plays in the background) haha

Exactly, I can semi understand with handhelds, because the fashion concious people want to have a cool coloured handheld or whatever, but when it comes to home consoles, i dont see how colour matters, unless your trying to match the carpet or something?

Clothing and home gaming consoles are completely different, your not going to wear your wii out, it sits in your cabinet or next to your tv, so why wait for different colours? They will all have the same function.
