Dr Who already HAS a video game.

It was released back on the cusp of the telemovie a little before 1996 I think. I own it. It's called "Destiny of the Doctors" And it's bloody awful.

basically you play this blue energy blob that has to save the doctor from destruction by the master who has taken over a giant planet of "pure mental energy". And he traps the doctor and makes him do ... stuff ...

The coolest part of the game is the opening cutscene.
