Wii Software \ Changing SSB Brawl

I'm a huge fan of the Marvel fighting series, namely the ability to swap characters mid fight and call on your partner for their special move.

Does anyone else think SSB (remaining in 3d of course) could be cool if a similar function was brought in?
I'd be so happy if I could fight as Link and do a special move that called out a barrage of chickens! Samus calls out Metroids etc. (like when using a poke-ball)

Also if we could swap characters while fighting it would force you 2 not rely on the same character every fight because you never use a second (most of us grind 1 guy). Also you'd learn to use different people to counter your opponents 2 choices.

What do you all think?

Wish Nintendo would accept our ideas...As if the consumer can't come up with better ideas than people locked in a room focusing on mass appeal and overlooking the fine details...

I'd call the new version Super Smash Brothers - Tag Team

Yeah I agree I love Melee and want Brawl to follow in its foot steps.
It'd be great if they did implement a similar system instead of keeping it forever the same. I think that's where Nin shoot themself in the foot, half the time they'd rather flog a dead horse instead of taking the franchise and innovating.

It's not a rip off of Tekken Tag Team, the idea came from playing games like Marvel vs Capcom etc. much better than Tekken Tag ever was.
Besides I didn't say it was an original idea, I said it would be good to have it in SSB.
Yeah the name is similar but that game wasn't the basis not by a long shot...

but the other half of the the time they're taking games to amazing new levels with microphones, touch screens, motion and tilt-sensors, card readers, bongo drums, light sensors, rumble feature.
Nintendo are the innovators for everyone to copy.
I hear microsoft is considering marketing the tilt-sensor that someone designed for the 360 controller new

I meant how they tend to keep story lines in major franchises etc so similar throughout the years, it's not a complaint I love Nintendo always have I'd just like to be blown away that bit more with exciting new twists on reliable favourites.

It had, adventure play, more characters, trophies, added team games, more customisation, new items etc...AND the big thing to remember is that it's a fighting game essentially, Did street fighter really need an Alpha series? Did Tekken really need Tag Tournement? Did DOA really need big bouncing body parts(;D)? NO, but they are a nice touch and improved the game(lol).
