Social \ Should I buy a PS3?

Ive got a wii, but im sick of not getting those 360/PS3 exclusives- rainbow six, GRAW 2, saints row, assasins creed- the list goes on. Im just not sure if i want to fork out the $1000, please give me advice

My cousin has a 360 and i go round to play often, so there no point in me getting one (except for online).

I'd say get both the PS3 and the 360(that's what I'm doing), but it depends if you want great games and less cost go for the 360 but if you want an entertainment package go the PS3...(hope that helped)

Yeah but you guys have to understand, a "decked-out" gaming PC costs a ****load of money unless you have friends who can get you compnents for cheaper or want to spend like a year making it to find the best price in which case it'll be outdated when you begin to use it. The reason the majority of people play games on consoles is becuse it'll generally cost less. You don't need new video cards(I do though right des? lol), new monitors,new software updates etc...Plus as I said before the gaming computer gets outdated within 6 months of the ourchase so you need to continually spend money on it. I'm happy with my consoles and the games selection for consoles is also a whole lot better than that of the PC...

Remember, consoles are usually future proof for the next 5 years or so. PCs need to be upgraded to keep up with all the advances, but console games are always optimised for the specific consoles so you'll never have problems.
