I love the fact that my fiance TOTALLY digs it, and all her friends!!!!! it blows my mind (after being considered a "geek gamer" for 23 yrs) that at 24 yrs of age. I can sit and watch my fiance and three of her friends bouncing around in front of the tv (everything else that goes with them bouncing aswell) with a wii-mote in their hand, giggling and play slapping each other when one of them misses the ball in wii sports tennis. From there my male mind phases into a daydream involving scenario's not allowed to be mentioned on this kid friendly site!!

It's definitely a console that attracts a wider range of people. And if it attracts more females to gaming then the Wii might really be the best console!

Bev, for sure man, i hate it how gaystation 3 and x-**** 360 fan boys go on about how revolutionary their consoles are....and that the wii is just two gamecubes stuck together..... the truth of the matter is, nintendo's aim (controller wise) is the most revolutionary thing in gaming since the mouse was invented as a pointer for pc games.....what's more....the PS3 and 360 are more or less 2 ps2's or x-box's stuck together!!!! let's not go into the social aspect of the wii console....don't want to break socially retarded ps and xbox fans' hearts so suddenly, HAHA

i never flamed them dude....i'm pointing out the obvious...there's nothing revolutionary AT ALL about PS3, more powerful graphics, sound, and gameplay is not revolution. revolution means new...it means adding something, that wasn't there before....if you consider that doubling the graphic capabilities of a console....then yeah, PS3 is revolutionary.....as for 360, look, it's a good console, fantastic online ability....i just don't like Microsoft, LOL

I didn't even SAY revolution in my post, I'm so sick of people amping everything up saying that every other console is inferior to the wii, the fact is the wii is inferior. Graphics are not THE revolution but they are part of it I mean the graphics are getting closer and closer to being photo-realistic, I consider that cool. I wouldn't say the Wii is revolutionary either, I mean SURE it has a motion sensing control, oh yay, it's nothing that the PS hasn't done before with their G-CON guns. And yes you are flaming, calling people "socially retarded" because they have an opinion isn't fair.

what, so you can go to school and improve your spelling?
as far as this forum goes, who gives a damn whether or not it's the best nintendo console, the best next-gen console, best dust collector! gamers are different. personally i like the fun aspect of the nintendo brand and don't care whether the graphics are photo realistic - i've got a pc for that. why do people need to validate their purchase. either enjoy it or sell it. it's that simple!
