Wii Software \ Sonic...not all that?

I'm hoping this will be the game that revives the Sonic franchise. Sonic Rush was a great game on the DS but that stuck to the traditional, linear style of gameplay. The last full 3D "exploration" type Sonic game was a complete bust and, in some cases, killed off all the fun Sonic once had.

Yes I too was originally excited about this title, I may still purchase it to make my own mind up. However, I was hoping there would be some more positive comments!

Rent it and try it for yourself. That way you'll know for sure.

Its worth a hire at best, the gameplay just doesn't realy involve you in it. I mean, you don't even get to make him run, it just does it automatically

it's pretty cool in places, but the controlling and jumping can be a bit sloppy...

i think it's worth playing through for at least a week though
(and then maybe taking it back to EB)

but still, i reckon anyone who hasn't played it yet should at least give it a go, and play through the first few warm up levels

im sorry, but i have to advise people not to rent it, and just buy it straight out. It takes some getting into, but once you have things to make you faster and stronger, its a very good game.

And for me, this is gonna have tons and tons of replay value, more than any other game i own
