When I think about the greatest gangsta flick, I think about ‘Scarface’, and when I think about the 2nd greatest gangsta flick I think about ‘The Untouchables’, and when I think about the 2nd greatest, I think about the 3rd greatest which is ‘Goodfellas’, and when I think about ‘Goodfellas’, I think about the good ‘fella’ in ‘Carlito’s Way’, which is the 4th greatest gangsta flick, which then leads me to the 5th greatest, and it happens to be ‘The Godfather’, (I’m going to cop a lot of pique for this one) and when I think of ‘The Godfather’, I think of the intense, emotionally charged shoot outs and beatings that can be found in the trilogy and also in the videogames of the same name. Wow, and when I think of the videogame, well I uh…well, I basically cream my pants out of the sheer awesomeness of the game. (slight exaggeration)
The Godfather game on the Nintendo Wii is called "The Godfather: Blackhand Edition" (sounds extreme huh?)The wii edition mirrors that of previous versions released on other platforms, apart from the control scheme.
Although it's worth mentioning there is a bit of new content apparently "five new hit missions, six new venues, two new vehicles, a fuel truck that can be rigged with a car bomb to produce massive explosions, a new "weapon wheel" to make it easier to choose your weapon on the fly, a completely reworked character development system, a brand-new family to contend with, and the ability to call in a "hit squad" to back you up in a fight."
The Blackhand edition for wii will also features a revamped skill system which allows players to choose form multiple paths such as: 'The enforcer' and 'The diplomat' upon receiving R-E-S-P-E-C-T. (find out what it means to me – thanks Aretha Franklin)
Blackhand is supposedly similar to the PS2 version in terms of graphics with rich texture and detail in the environment.
So if your into the whole gangster genre or just looking for a solid shoot out, make sure to be on the look out for ‘The Godfather blackhand edition.
