2.wait for fish to tug on line.. immediately pull line back.
3.if fish jumps out of water lower your line.
4.keep reeling line in till fish is close enough, press Z+A.

I couldn't catch any fish. I played for 2 hours and didnt get any fish. My girlfriend (who's finished zelda now) tried for me as well without any luck, it's bs. I have had a lot more enjoyment with tony hawks and wii sports. Sorry Zelda, I hate you.
