Until the consoles were available again a few days ago, they were being sold on eBay for around $500-$600. People are just profiteering. I know for a fact that one bloke bought 5 from Myer at Southland and sold the lot on eBay. As far as Wii consoles go, make eBay your last resort unless you want to get ripped off. Having said that, I was desperate for an extra controller and nunchuk and as there are none in the shops, I ended up buying them through eBay. I paid $102 for both which is a bit more than retail, but I was pleased that I got them so quickly.
