I have to agree with you MrMorden. I can't hide my disappointment in checking the Wii Shopping Channel today and seeing Super Mario Bros. as the only new addition. They can do a lot better!

One thing to keep in mind is that's Japan..the motherland of Nintendo.
Unlike them we don't have countless people working at Nintendo with plenty of dedicated servers ready to handle everything.
I think they will give us all the VC games but in time, one country always follows another, that's just the way it is so just be patient. If you can't be patient and wait I suggest moving to Japan

As for the actual software etc. yeah chances are they will mess it up like the gamecube, but once again it comes down to people power. You can't release a slew of games without plenty of Beta testing...fingers crossed for a Nintendo wake up call this time around.

Why the weak trickle of games? Why the Urban Champions but not the Chrono Triggers? The Altered Beasts instead of the Yoshi's Islands?

Then again, why are games that have already been released here delayed? I think it would be fair to say Nintendo's support of Australia has been pretty pathetic up to now (compared with other countries) but now they have their chance... the Wii is a hit and they have to be aggressive, they have to keep advertising and releasing more games just like they are doing in Japan and the US. I hope we get some cool VC games soon and and want Mario Kart 64 :'(
