Without doubt it is one of the only good games out right now for the Wii unfortunately. There are few other titles that you may find enjoyable such as Red Steel which is also another good title, but the only game that seems to have great gameplay and lastability at the moment is Zelda.

Zelda is a GameCube port, but it's got it's bloom effects, extended qualities, etc. It is a Wii title, by all means, and without a doubt the best game on the Nintendo Wii. 2nd at the moment I would say Rayman, and 3rd maybe Red Steel.

i bought it based on reviews (all atleast 85%!) and it is probably the worst game I have ever played

so yeah! try before you buy! (it's not a game for everyone)

as for the best game? zelda, for now! but later? probably wario smooth moves

True. With this new wireless technology I think stores are going to find it difficult to put out consoles such as the Wii for play testing like they used to do with the Xbox, Playstation, Gamecube... Etc. They'd have to chain the Wiimote down or something. I suppose it is possible, but until then just base your decissions on your judgement. If not, you can do what I did to Star Fox Command: carefully peel off the sticker (when broken refunds are no longer available) so it does not break. Play the game for a bit, if you don't like it... Return it!
But then again, only Target are stupid enough to not keep the games in the original thin plastic wrapping.

Ill take an alternate point of view here and say wii sports. Zelda has rolled on from the greatnes created from past Zelda's. Where as Wii Sports was 'supposed' to be some little 5 minutes of fun mini games with 'NO DEPTH' and no shelf life. The graphics were 'supposed' to be ordinary, and the sooks and whinners were out in full force.

This game has really done a great job. If this game didnt come bundled with the wii I would certainly fork over 110 to secure a copy.
