Wii Software \ Just bought Rayman

Im actually disappointed so far.

I have three people (including myself) ready to play a new multiplayer game - and two of them have to sit around and watch me play because everything has to be unlocked in the single player mode.

Yup - thats what gaming is about. Two good friends, pizza and drinks - sitting around watching me play.

And that disco thing is the dumbest thing ever in a video game - EVER!

And to have to do it everytime you play is going to see this game end up on the 'dumb games' pile very soon.

Im sure there are some fun multiplayer games in there waiting to be unlocked but I dont know if I have the patience.

I am sick of multiplayer games having to be played in the one player mode first. Its dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb!!!!

Any video game designer reading this - its dumb!!!

I dont want to sit around watching people play.
And the designated gamer who unlocks all the stuff is light years ahead in skill level and bored at beating new gamers all the time!

But thats my first day impressions.

most of the games in rayman are played by taking turns and seeing who gets the best score anyway so if you were to each have a go at each game until you had passed it i then it'd be a lot of fun, even if the first person to play the game passes it the other 2 people could also have a go to try and beat his score.

There is no reason why they should have to sit around and watch you play.

monkeyball is the opposite. Reasonably good mulit-player. 50 mini games not to bad at least most of them last longer than one minute.
But the single palyer mode, wtf!!!
Does anypone remember those littel plastic games where they had a miniature ball bearing inside the you had to tilt the game to make the ball slot into little perforations in the games cardboard backing.
Please give me a break, if I had to pay full price for this game I would ave been quite irate.

the dancing part of rayman is actually pretty good when you get used to it
the songs get way faster and more complicated. at first i got so frustrated koz i couldn't get it down. haven't tried multiplayer yet need to get some more nunchucks n controllers

However, as you advance more into the game there will be, in my opinion, better games. I thought the dancing game was retarded at first too, but that because it was too hard, but when you get used to it maybe you will like it as much as i do now.

Carrot juice, bunny's are over sensitive and Bunnys are raving mad part 2 are my favourites.

I bought it, I completed it, my girlfriend completed it. We find it funny, calm, and a nice game to play. It's a good party game, and we're looking forward to tracking down a Nunchuck to play 2 player, but atm we just swap with one, and it's great.

It's easier to be negative on something, than to be positive. This game has ALOT more positives than negatives.

I tried it out with friends, who enjoyed it for about an hour and then got bored. Yes it is a nice game, but it is not for everyone.

We've been having fun with it, playing through story-mode.
(But if anyone has a cheat to unlock all games, that would be good).

You only have to complete 3 of the 4 'missions' per level anyway, so even if there is one task you can't do, just ignore it and go onto the final-challenge anyway.

(never managed to do the 'closing toilet doors' game... *shrug*)
