Metroid Prime 3 - awesome gameplay, fun, great control scheme
Wario Ware/Mario Party 8 - best party games

Don't think you should get paper mario, it's a bit kiddish and way too easy

if you ask for money for your birthday you can save up to get Call of Duty 5 or the Conduit (cos you like war games)
