Well, Nintendo wouldnt release this attachment if it didnt make a difference, if they did, well...they just looking for money. But I HIGLY doubt that would be the reason.
Hmm are you saying that adding an attachment to the wiimote should increase graphics in the game? Or instead of this attachment, they should work on graphics?

it enables true motion control.
So it'll know exact movement
So basically, you know in previous wii games when it doesnt do what you want it to? cause the motion controls are a bit limited..
well this apparently fixes it.
