You think, a few years ago it was under $1 a litre, and in another 10 years it's going to over quadruple in price.

The only way to make a TRULY renewable energy source is to make fuel out of something that can be easily replenished once used.

For example I've been very interested in hondas nitrogen powered hybrid as nitrogen is easily a renewable source of fuel and it only emits water vapor.

As for all commodities go up. Yes this is true. I'm managing a supermarket and we are having to put price increases on your most common day items due to the pressure of fuel pricing and costs of wholesale prices from our distributors.

Fuel I'm afriad will never ever go down in price. The moment they do find a renewable energy source, the alternative "fuel" will still be charged around the $8 mark in 20 odd years...this is because of the global economy *continues ranting to himself*........

What is this 'TRULY renewable resource' crap too? The whole idea of renewable resources is fundamentally deceptive. Fossile fuels are renewable it is just that they take a significant amount of time to form, food crops are renewable for so long as we can continue to grow them. I cannot think of one source of energy that would actually come under the title of non-renewable.

now it backfire on GM back then they was into fuel guzzler heavy V8 now that fuel got to point where they can't even sell anymore Fuel guzzler and GM is faceing bankrupt now they look more Fuel efficiency like new Electric car Chevy Volt

Very not far away I'm waiting for the housing boom to...go boom! Theres not much point buying a house now because its going to go belly up soon...things work in cycles.

My friend works as an animal tech in a research facility and always has dirty hippies protesting about things they have no idea about. Dirty hippies and uni students that is. I hate people who pretend to care about things to look cool.

Me too... costing me 70-85 these days to fill up. And my poor old 2.0L Camry is chewing through fuel faster than a current model V8 Holden. I worked it out to be using approx. 20 litres per 100km. Epic ouch!

20L per 100km, you're driving style must be horrible then, my 1992 Magna 2.6L averages about 12L per 100km

The world will be long gone by the time fuel hits $8 a litre. There will be world wars on the arabs who control the oil, everything will go up. It will be like all those movies you see where there is fighting in all countries and all streets.
