Wii Hardware \ Thanks OzModChips!!!

Just had my Wii modded yesterday by one of the Melbourne members of OzModChips. They were so easy to deal with throughout the whole process, no wonder I've seen so many recommendations from this website. A couple of my backups don't work, but apart from that everything is a-ok! Thanks OzModChips, and thanks to everyone here who pointed me in the right direction!

yes he is quite good huh.
couple of back ups not working may be wii firmware related or mod chip firmware related

you can send your wii to melbourne to ozmodchips and get it done.
Thats what i did and it was great, super fast and worked perrrrrfectly

I got my wii chipped for 90 bucks from a dude in prospect. Takes under an hour and you can watch him do it. his website is www.xpunked.com you should go through him rather than ship your wii off if that is the case. no offense to ozmodchips as they are obviously very good from what you can see but just if your after a local

I agree with you 100% Draggyn, the members here who have put modchips in their Wii know the risk, but do it any way just so they can play games from japan and the US. Look there isn't much point in telling them the risks of damage, they aren't going to be happy with the games in Australia and are willing to put a non nintendo product in their systems just to play a game not in Aus it's not worth it but they think it is. You are right.

Why can't you be happy with a wii that just plays Pal. Is home brew really that fantastic.
