Loosing weight is not that hard. Get a department store managers job. You will walk about 12-15k per day or around 30-40,000 steps. I dont even try and ive lost around 35kg since march. Lost 3kg last week alone.

My metabolism is so high that I ate two large Double Quarter Pounder meals on Monday and have yet to see a single kilogram add onto my scale. It's been like this for..say...20 years? (I'm 20 btw )

PROTIP: Alter your genetic code and achieve my metabolism. It's awesome...unless you intend on being a body builder. In which case, you're boned.

Not if your in New Zealand. Haven't read the article yet, where was it published? Edit: However you said 6pm, hmmm.

Also I am happy with my metobalism, I can put on weight if I want and lose it just as quick if I want.

That sucks. If i eat pizza on say sunday, it will take me a whole 7 days to work it off. You only need to eat 15cal more then you use to put on like 2kg over a year. To compare a sprite 375ml can is 200cal.

It doesnt mean u r healthy. A friend of mine who is skinny as and can eat anything and not get fat got her cholestral test and it was high.

So she was fat on the inside and skinny on the outside and the doctors says this is becomming quite common.

Hmmm. The results of this study are a little shadey. The test group consisted of 14,000 adults. That's close to .1% of the population. I checked the ABS and found that our own statistics show that while this claim may be false it is terrifyingly close to true (given it's a projection).
Dear lord people get the hell of the couch!!

Actually that would be like 1.4% (just a guess). Or is this just adult population?

Edit: I just did the calculations of 20 mill (yes I know we are like 22/23 mill now) to 14 thousand and it was close to 1.5%. What a great guess - Well I have to leave thinking I am good - Makes me sleep better.

14,000 x 100 is only 1,400,000
The ABS put the adult population at about 14,000,000
14,000 x 1000 is 14,000,000
That being .1%.

How is that flawed?

Tsk tsk don't say losing weight is easy until you know what the hell you are talking about. I've had the unfortunate luck to have the gene and have battled weight my entire life. Its nothing to do with eating or exercise in some cases such as my own, if you have the gene you will fight it your whole life or just be fat.

I have to practically live on a diet to stay in a healthy weight range, which I was up until 6 months ago when I got glandular fever and was unable to exercise at all and gained 30kg in less than 3 months. Now I've been fighting to shed all that weight because it comes off a f***ing lot slower than it goes on.

Also BMI is a total crock.

Actually Djinn, quite correct. Sorry, not sure how I got my sums before.

As for the fat thing, I was a tubby kid, as I grew taller I lost weight with no real exercise. Suppose I was lucky there. I lost even more weight when I started exercising but also grew some muscle tone.

I think it's best, no matter what you weigh to do some exercise each day, it makes you feel better. Endorphins.
