This is what happend;
The update from a few days ago installed the information onto the Wii which the newer updates will use. At this stage the menu is using the older fireware. Once it decides to use the downloaded one from yesturday it will act up. This is expected in the next menu update.
The freeloader uses the error which is been fixed, so its likley not to work once the next update comes around.
