This is merely a wii shop update so when wiiware is released our wiis will be ready for it.

Everything else is exactly the same so our wiikeys and freeloaders will be fine

Virtual Console allows you to buy retro (old) games to your wii.
WiiWare allows you to buy new games, only for wii. Think of it as Xbox Live Arcade.
